For ladies, formal evening includes a long or short cocktail dress or suit. For gentlemen, formal evening includes a dark suit or a blazer and slacks with a nice tie. Traditional barongs, an embroidered formal garment of the Philippines worn over an undershirt, may also be worn.

Wedding Colors

The primary wedding colors are wine and champagne. The couple selected these colors because it matches the Mediterranean decor of the reception venue which is held at a vineyard in Livermore.

Wine

Wine, or wine red, is a shade of purplish red associated with burgundy. The color wine is similar to other shades of dark red such as maroon.

At the wedding, this color will be worn by the bridesmaids and groomsmen.

Champagne

The color champagne is a name given for various very pale tints of yellowish-orange that are close to beige.

At the wedding, this color will be worn by the primary sponsors and secondary sponsors as well as the parents of the bride and groom.
